Good Afternoon Good People,
As many of you know based on my post-dated July 13, 2015 I was in a pretty low and disappointed state. A number of you shared love, kind words, and reminded me of God’s love for me and that He, God, Has a plan larger than my 9 to 5. Well that Sunday, July 19 was entrepreneur Sunday. I had the privilege of sharing, and selling books. I picked up a speaking engagement (Aug 3rd) my granddaughter sold four of her books but the highlight of the day was the speaker for our service.
His name, Mr. Robert Watkins, God sent Mr. Watkins to me personally. “Be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said I will never leave you nor forsake you” Hebrews 13:5 Mr. Watkins shared several highly important points, (get cd/dvd from www.majesticlifechurch.com date July 19, 2015 8:30 am service). I Googled Mr. Watkins while still in service and as he spoke I grew more and more interested in what he was sharing.
He shared that before he became a millionaire, he was a janitor, a janitor that heard the voice of God speaking to him about his future. That shared information took me back to the shelter, my home for four months and four days, where the women would gather in my room and I would share with them concerning their value, despite their (our) then current position. Basically, Mr. Watkins encouraged us (the congregation) too look at a picture larger than our 9 to 5. God does not want you chasing pay checks, God want you to be able to live beyond what you can dream. I found myself provoked to look beyond my termination and to hear and seek God like never before. Mr. Watkins www.robertjwatkins.com spoke of two of his books, “Never Chase a Paycheck Again” and “How to hear from God” I had both books by Wednesday of that week. I have been reading “Never chase a paycheck again” I sent a letter to Mr. Watkins I believe that Monday, I contacted amazon had all of my books on their site, I updated some things on my site, www.carolyndenise.com, I begin to blog again, I’m working on a prototype of a product I believe will be a blessing to many. Mr. Watkins suggest find a problem and come up with the solution. What is it that you love doing that gives you great joy? Do it, live on purpose. What is your reason for being? This blog was provoked after speaking with a young lady concerning her 20-month-old daughter. I found myself in my zone, what I love doing, what gives me chills, where God has gifted me with the wisdom to do, speaking with, encouraging, and helping individuals regain their value and get moving, I was back in my room at the shelter. I’m encouraged that the work God started in us years ago, He shall complete?
The Lord your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your land for good. For the Lord will again rejoice over you Deuteronomy 30:9 Live on purpose!
