Discipline and Education the intelligent twins

Post  #4 of the 30-day blog post challenge

An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.

Discipline and education are partners in success. Training provides the framework for education. Discipline, (a pop on the hand, butt, or even tough talks) was removed from school instructors and placed wholly in the hands of the parents.

At one point, parents, if called, would make their way to the school and pop a butt if informed of a problem. That too has been eliminated. I have heard parents verbally admit they fear having their child removed from their custody if corporal discipline is applied.

Teachers fear the possibility losing their license if any disciplinary action is made aware of by authorities any form.  As a consequence of all of this adult fear (parents and teachers), children are left to run both the home and classroom.

The most significant adults in the lives of a child are too fearful to administer the correction and guidance each child needs. Now we have kids telling parents to “shut the hell up” and teachers going to school and leaving with broken arms. I mean really how stupid have we become? Yes, I said it “STUPID.”

Children need correction, guidance, structure, love, care, discipline, (and at times a pop on the bottom or a pop in the flip mouth). My sister is still alive and well even though she had her mouth washed out with soap.
I do not believe our children should be scarred from beatings as if a slave. However I have no problem with a couple of licks in the hand, on the butt or a pop in the mouth if that mouth gets to flipped.
Before you jump on the bandwagon of “not believing in butt popping” Spend your next week of vacation in a public or charter school and see how bad it has become. We, the adults, have to go now back and regain all of the authority and power we foolishly relinquished to children.
Fear is a destructive evil anything ruled by fear, be it our education system or parenting, will eventually collapse. Love does conquer all. LOVE CORRECTS, LOVE CORRECTS, you discipline those you love.
