Today is my 5th post of the 30-day challenge.
My desire is to get parents and educators back on the same page and end the war, "parents vs. teachers" while children remain uneducated laughing all the way to Dumbville. Once the level of respect returns between the two entities and children, understand the strength of such a merger, foolish is bound to decrease.
I am working towards a master's in social and community services where I'm trained to create community forums, activities etc. that will rebuild our communities. I run a successful mentoring center and enjoy working with the children in our community. However one of those outreaches will be to teach our children to respect authority, however, authority, we have to live in a matter worthy of respect.

UNIFORMED SECURITY OFCR - 0296026UNIFORMED SECURITY OFCR 2015-2016
I copied the advertised link above from the website of one of our county school districts. The ad as you can read is for a uniformed officer at a middle school (11-13-year-olds). If we train, govern, parent, whole accountable and discipline our children in their early years, we will not need uniformed security over them as preteens.
Parents we have to return to the land of common sense understanding that discipline and correction of negative behavior all start at home with the parent(s). My desire is to begin offering strategies that will help parents get back on track when it comes to loving their children via correction.
Parents, with tears in their eyes and or in the midst of a full cry, are calling me or stopping me and saying about their 8, 9, 10, or older child, "I just don't know what to do." One mom told me, "Just call the police, I don't know what else to do."
Parents, I know you are frustrated, and I am lining events up as one of the resources available for you and desirings to make a difference in your families and our communities.
